The American School in London Visit to Nelson
It was our privilege to welcome The American School in London to Nelson at the end of term. Their orchestra provided a wonderful concert for our pupils.
Remembrance Day
The Newham Remembrance Service was held at Central Park, with schools from all across the Borough taking part. Our House captains and Year 5 school councillors attended with Ms Cull and Mrs Hunter. We held a two minutes silence with the whole school in the playground.
EYFS Mini Beasts Visit
The children in Reception and Nursery were visited by a range of minibeasts on Thursday. This is part of their Learning Challenge Curriculum. It was lovely to see how all the children were so interested in the animals and so respectful to the keepers that brought them into school.
Children University Graduates
Ten children graduated at the Children’s University on Friday 28th February. They attended a ceremony at Loughborough University, in the Olympic Park. After an inspirational talk from Geoff Thompson, MBE they each received their certificates. Congratulations on all of the hard work.
