17 members of staff put on their running shoes to take part in a 5K race for life to raise money for cancer research in memory of their friend and colleague, Pat Wilton. £5240 raised so far!!
Some of our Year 5 pupils had an amazing away day at Fairplay House.
Our pupils had a wonderful time at Easter School. Reading, maths, art, cooking, street dance, archery, sports, stories, music.
Our school orchestra visited the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in April. They had a special tour to take in all of the sights. All of this gave them inspiration for their composition in preparation for a special performance in July with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
It was our privilege to welcome The American School in London to Nelson at the end of term. Their orchestra provided a wonderful concert for our pupils.
Year R had a wonderful trip to Central Park.
Another fabulous evening of singing. What a privilege to have Trinity Laban choir in school to perform for us and teach us some new songs. Great to have Gallions School and Elmhurst Primary choirs joining us too.
