It’s Spring Arts Festival week at Nelson.
The art trail in the playground is proving very popular!
A fabulous concert from our string players to start the Spring Arts Festival. We were also delighted to have our Vina players in the concert for the first time. What a great evening!
Day 2 of the festival and it’s the turn of the woodwind and brass players. Another fabulous concert from all who performed.
Day 3 – Performance poetry. A wonderful range of poems performed by pupils from years R to 6.
Day 4 – Gala Choral Concert. An absolutely fabulous evening! A packed house and amazing performances from each of our choirs culminating in a wonderful rendition of ‘There will always be a reason to sing’ by all five choirs. Thanks to thew music for youth mentor who came to support us.
Day 5 -Orchestral Spectacular.What a way to end the week! Senior string ensemble, senior wind ensemble, Newham Music jazz collective, school of rock, East Ham Groove and our amazing 43 piece orchestra!Thanks to the music for youth mentor for supporting.
